Hello, world! I can't be the only one who thought all of these categories get a little bit ridiculous (seriously? there's a list for people who like armadillos?), and don't take everything I listed myself in entirely seriously (I mean, I don't dislike armadillos, but neither do I have passionate love for them, no more than any other animals--I'm vegetarian, because I love animals).
Anyway. I'm Jocelyn. Jaye. Joss. Lyn. I have nicknames. You pick. I'm an eighteen-year-old girl from the United States. I'm a university student--well, I'm home and not in school at the moment, but only for a couple of months, I'm going back in January. I go to school in Germany, but don't speak German (the school is in English). I do speak fair Spanish, though.
I'm a creative, spontaneous, impulsive, disorganized, artsy, disorderly, curious, passionate, adventurous sort of person. Living life to the fullest, with a few detours. I'm passionate about travel, photography, and writing. And, of course, good conversation and spending time with my friends :) I also love listening to music, politics, religions (comparative religious studies, not any one religion--I'm agnostic, if it matters), all arts, reading, history, road trips, big cities, public transportation, nature....Lots of things, really. I'm fascinated by the world; it's an amazing place :) I collect interesting quotes that resonate with me, office supplies, music, and books about travel & foreign languages--you never know when you'll need them! I travel the world whenever I can, and relish the adventure of showing up in a new city in the middle of the night with no idea what you're doing or where you'll sleep for the night. I'm looking to find some interesting people interested in good conversation (by email). Please be a reasonably good English speaker, and make an attempt to write properly (i.e. capitalization, spelling, punctuation, etc.). I'm uncomfortable talking to men over the age of about 26. Other than that, the door's wide open, and I hope to meet some great people! Who don't mind my sometimes late replies...see: disorganized :) ♥
